Contact forms

The site's forms (claim your venue, report an error, suggest a restaurant, web enquiries and business access) collect the data you type: name and email (required) and, depending on the form, phone, address, role, company and a message. We use them only to handle your request (legal basis: taking steps at your request, art. 6.1.b GDPR), we never use them for advertising, and we keep them only while the request is open. They are stored on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt).

Abuse protection

When you submit a form we process your IP address transiently to limit repeated submissions (legitimate interest in keeping the service available, art. 6.1.f GDPR). It is not stored with your request.

Analytics — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 and every signal denied by default: no analytics cookie is set unless you accept the banner. If you accept, aggregate usage statistics help us understand which pages are useful; you can withdraw your choice at any time on the cookie page. Data may be processed by Google under EU standard contractual clauses.

Data about venues

The directory describes businesses, not private individuals, using public sources cited fact by fact. Where an official register identifies a business as a natural person, we show and export it only in aggregate — never their name, address, phone or website. Customer-review information appears only as aggregate figures with their sample size; we never republish review texts or reviewer names.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object by writing to company@aicompass.ai. If you run a listed venue and something is wrong, the fastest route is the "report an error" link on its page. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.
